I am so happy our rains are here!  I hope you are too and, did you know that fresh water is an important part of Florida Bay?  Well, it is.  Historically, Florida Bay has had a perfect balance of fresh and salt water to support the diversity of wildlife found in the bay.  In the past 50 years, we have diverted the fresh water of the Everglades for farming and flood control which as left Florida Bay short of the fresh water supply needed to support it’s wildlife.  We can correct this but we need to do our part to keep Florida Bay healthy.  Click here, Eco-Mariner , to take the free course and you will learn why Florida Bay is so important to protect.
